If using a Wi-Fi connection, we recommend being close to the router to ensure the best speeds. If possible, plugging in an Ethernet cable from the router into your computer will typically increase those speeds. If you are using a laptop that doesn't have an Ethernet port, you might consider using a USB to Ethernet cable.
We also recommend shutting down all non-operating system applications in order to ensure the best available bandwidth for your LockDown Browser session.
When taking a LockDown Browser test that also requires a webcam, we automatically detect the quality of your internet connection and lower the video resolution to put less strain on the bandwidth available to you. If your internet connection is poor, you may experience performance problems, such as slow page loads.
